Printer paper sizes

It is common to use different sizes of paper. This always raises questions like ‘is A3 larger than A4’.

You can understand why it could be confusing. Paper sizes are arranged in reverse order so the largest dimension is the smallest. We’ll go over some of the most common paper sizes and explain what they are, as well as how they’re used.

What are the different sizes?

There are different classes of paper. The A-class is what we use most often. Paper with the right ratios is A-class. This means it can be folded perfectly in half to make the next smallest size.
